I am a Christian but at the moment I feel very angry with people who kill little babies and they say they didn't mean to do it. Why do people do that, a baby cannot defend theirselves even children can't. This couple I know murdered their baby and was jailed for 5 years. I can't pray for them because they took a life of an innocent child. What should I do and what would you do?

The baby was my nephew!

if you are talking about an abortion, then i cannot geive you any diecent answer. i am really devided on that issue myself.

however if this was a child that had already been born. then in my mind there is no redemption for them. do not waste your time praying for them. my gods tell me to do good for the people that do good to others. but not to pray or do magick for the wicked. they will not bless them and may not take very kindly to me asking them to do good for evil people.

but this pputs you in a bit of a catch 22, because the child was your nephew then the killler is your brother or sister.

tough choice. i would not wish to be in our shoes.

all i can tell you is to do what you know is right.

I'm sorry. : (

I honestly think people who do that are not right in the head or have no conscious. How could they? : (

5 Years is not enough... Because you really are helpless to change what happened, then all you can do is try to deal the best you can and hope they get what's coming to them. They world is an unfair place, but sometimes it has a way with catching up with people who've done wrong...

I'm sorry to hear that. Really. If you pray, maybe you should pray for the murderers family instead, until you are able to forgive them. This would be a very difficult position, christian or not.

You should never keep such scorn in your heart. Hatred can kill you, studies have shown this. The Bible talks about loving your enemies and if they hurt you, you just keep striving on and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, PRAY FOR THEM! Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV) says: "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins". In Matthew 18:35 Peter asks Jesus how many times should he forgive another who sins against, ". . . up to seven times?" Then Jesus answer saying " . . . not seven times, but seventy-seven times", Jesus was basically stating with this that no matter what another person has done to you or how many times they've do it, you should always forgive.

Please hear me, even though they committed this horrible act, you must always forgive, because this is what God wants for you. Because you are not the judge of others and their consequences, only God is and he will deal with them. Give it all to God sister, Give them and what they did to God, God is a restoring God, God is a God of peace and love and he is willing to give it to those who truly seek him wholeheartly and without darkness in their hearts. Let God's light shine upon the darkness and bring it into the light to be changed and restored. You must let go, I know its hard to get over something like that, but with God all things are possible! Okay! *Peace and Blessings*

As hard as it is and I can't even begin to imagine the pain you must feel, you must forgive them. Forgiveness lets the healing being within you. You must do it for YOURSELF. Not for the sake of the parents of this child. You are bound by self-imposed shackles if you refuse forgiveness. Not only that, but if God has forgiven them and you won't that's putting yourself in a higher position than God. You do need to pray for them. You need to forgive them and you need to ask God to give you strength to do these things.

God bless & comfort you!

It is so hard to forgive..and it isn't fair to those babies they don't a chance. We don't forgive for the person it is for us,,so we don't harbor hate in our heart..We know when those babies live us,,they are with our Father and He will never let those children ever be harmed again..They laughing and giggling again and Jesus is playing with them..I will pray with you for your pain you are going through...

I am so sorry for your loss...babies are so precious I just can't imagine someone hurting one. Until we are able to forgive we can't let the pain go so we can heal.

I'm sorry for your nephew, knowing me, I would run away. But I know it's impossible to run away from your problems. I suggest you consider the facts.
