Considering that Christianity is only 2000 years old and Judaism goes back about what, 3-4000 years before that, and humans have been around for 100,000s of years, Non-Pagan stuff has only been around for a small fraction of our history. Of course we're going to have alot of stuff from the era before Non-Pagan existed. A whole lot. Why does this surprise people?

Why would it bother me?
What bothers me is the pagan holidays made out to be the holidays of a mock religion.

If one was deaf and a time traveler and went to todays church with the first day worship and with the symbols in the church he could not tell the difference between a christian service and a service of pagon Sun worshipers.

well i am Pagan,

so it does not bother me.

actually i find it refreshing to see all of these people celebrating ancient customs and having no clue as to what they mean or represent. just something about the irony of it all that amuses me.
