Another Sunshine cookie that is no longer being made is these simple sugar-coated cookies w/ real(?) lemon(or lemon-flavored) pieces baked into them...according to reliable sources, when Kraft Foods took over what was left of Sunshine a few years ago, Lemon Coolers was discontinued...my son and I aren't the ONLY ones who miss these great-tasting cookies...anyone else?...
Just remember the green and yellow boxes w/ a cookie, a glass of milk and a lemon on the front...and it was instant "yum-yum-gimme-some";hey, my son could've eaten a whole box in one sitting, especially when when our favorite TV shows are on, mainly, "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race"!...

OMG - I thought I was the only one that missed those. I LOVED those cookies. I didn't know what had happened - I just couldn't find them at the grocery stores any more. How sad.
I also could eat a whole box by myself. I loved to stick a whole one in my mouth and let it slowly dissolve. MMMMMMMMMMMM!
Also, I love Survivor. I have watched every episode!

That's Kraft for you...first they kill off the Hydrox cookie(the famous Oreo clone), now THIS???...
When the first two seasons of "Survivor" were on, I would eat a whole box during each week's challenges!...
Now I'm stuck w/ eating yogurt!

I loved them.THey are one of the fondest memories of my childhood.My mom would always make sure she showed me the box of lemon coolers when she got home from the store.And they were worse than doritos--you could definetely not just eat one.Thanks for bringing back such fond memories for me!!!!!!
