Sometimes paper cuts seem to happen when you do one particular activity. For me it happens when I open envelopes, so I have a letter opener on the table where I open my mail. If it happens when you wrap presents or sort papers, you might want to consider those skin-tight latex gloves if it's a common problem for you. Once I have a paper cut, I've found that if I keep Vicks VapoRub on the cut, it heals within two days. Amazing stuff.
