Most certainly Satan lives on the earth today. That is why the world is in the horrible condition that it is in. We may not see him physically, but you can rest assured that he is alive. His evil spirit dwells in many people, just as the Spirit of God dwells in every Christian person. It is the devil who gives people the evil desires and thoughts that they have. His demon forces are also alive all over the earth. This is why the Word of God tells us in Eph. 6:12, that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places; referring to demon spirits. This is why it is so very important for us to always remember that it is the devil and his evil forces that are our enemies; not other people; even though they may be influenced by the evil forces of the devil. Let us never forget that it is the forces of evil that we must attempt to overcome. And we can only do so with the help of God; through his power and strength.

I don't know about the dog part. But satan is everywhere. He is always working and knows more about God and the Bible that 99% of Christians. He has had thousands of years of practice. Never think he isn't waiting to get at you. Especially if you are living for Christ. Unless we turn from our sins, realize that Jesus died for our sins and that we are not worthy to live forever, we will burn in hell. Very real. Later

Actually, I think that in the book of Job, the word that "Satan" is translated from means "adversary," or something like that.

No, Satan does not live on earth because He has no physical body. He lives and reigns spiritually here. His worshippers believe he lives in the constilation of Orion.
