i do. but life is complicated so i believe karma can be instant or delayed. it's easy to comprehend this concept though. for example, if someone slap you on the face, what do you do? you wanna slap back to get him/her back right? that's is karma. no need to explain.

Yes many people in Buddhist countries and some in the western countries believe the consequence of event in the next life but for the average ,Non-Buddhist Joes it means skillful vs unskillfull distinction that is if you want to lead a pleasant life in this world and hold your qualities as you don't know whether there is after life or not.

No, except for in two regards:
1. People directly reward you for what you've done.
2. People get good or bad vibes from you (eg. guilty conscience).
Better to do the right thing, and let it stand; not expecting anything back will strengthen the meaning of what you do. Isn't it rewarding enough to change the world, even in a small way?

oh yeah! I believe that things happen for a reason and also, what goes around comes around...so always watch how you treat others. I'm definately not a saint but Im not a total sinner either

yes i do believe.and it depends on each individual.some people don't believe in Karma,so,it takes no charge on them.as they simply don't care.or they wouldn't realise it till it keeps on "hitting" them.but it does exist.i realised it when i was 20!
