People put crosses and angels on graves even though they are not christians. Why don't they put a bust of charles darwin's head on a grave?

People hope that they can somehow pray their loved one into heaven. No evidence for that in the Bible. Sorry, just not there.

Charles Darwin was not an atheist. What would he have to do with death? People put crosses and angels because they are traditional and they loved the person who passed. You do not have to be Christian to love crosses and angels.

The cross is a Celtic symbol as well as a Christian one. Also, Christianity is merely one of MANY faiths that ackowlege the existance of angels. It seems quite arrogant to feel you have the "rights" to these symbols and no one else may use them.

A bust of Darwin's head would be much more expensive, and may carry a copyright. But a fish may be feasible...

well, they (who have died) don't feel that and don't know about that. And for us, i don't think it's disturbing. so just let they do what they like.
