Understanding the concept "Kundalini"-
Kundalini is the most potent form of yoga one shall come across while proceeding on the path of spirituality. It is most surprising that in my case I was not required to awaken my Kundalini as it was only after having realized God that I became aware that my Kundalini had fully awakened.
And what does awakening of the kundalini mean? It must have been the grace of God that my Kundalini awakened unknown to me. It was really fearful that something coiled within me was the cause of great scare and delusion while I was in the initial stages of my spiritual pursuit. It must have been about 15~20 years before I realized God in 1993.
Something within me as scary as the wildest of the wild King Cobras staring blank at me confronted me many times in a day. I could not sleep for many nights in continuation for the dread of the King Cobra staring at me (while my eyes were closed) was really frightening. I was really frightened at that stage but not willing to give way. I had to succeed and reach the end of my journey.
I tried to discuss with many about the Serpentine Kundalini power but I was only told that there are many chakras in the spine of the body and for one to rise higher on the spiritual platform... we need to get the chakras activated from the bottom to the top.
I was also made aware that it was the practice of Brahmacharya Vrata (practice of absolute celibacy) which shall result in the elevating of the chakras. How and when was clearly unknown? The path of practicing Brahmacharya Vrata nay celibacy was not even clear to the most accomplished religious leaders I came across.
Kundalini energy always exists within one all the time. Kundalini is an inherent form of dormant energy which exists within the body since times immemorial and is only required to be released. It has always been lying dormant within the human body. From one manifestation of life to another as a human being... this coiled Serpentine energy exists waiting to be awakened! My understand about kundalini is that it is the contraction of the muscles at the bottom of the groin. Its the one you use when you don't want to pee any more. By contracting this muscle it connects the energy path from the top of your head, through the groin and up your back to complete the circle. Since its very close to the sex glands it is most often considered to be sexual in nature. This is also the muscle that is contracted when you climax during intercourse. Again it's considered sexual. Take your pick. Its either a link in your energy or its sexual.

Kundalini is akin to the Chinese "chi", or vital energy. The body's reservoir of chi is referred to as the "dan tien" point, which is located between your navel & your groin. There is a branch of yoga called, obviously, Kundalini yoga which deals with the direction and manipulation of it within your body.

it's part of yoga. something to do with hatha yoga, i think.Something called the 'cat' asana, removes blockades from the sacral center and keeps the spine young and elastic. I'm not too sure though... it's a more detailed subject of which i only remember bits and pieces.
