How do i erase a readonly file on my cd-rw?

i cant erase them some alert pops up saying cant delete readonly files

First of all u can't delete, move or alter any file that is read-only even if it was on your hard drive.
Let's Change that first
1.Right click the file
2.Go to properties
3.Look at the bottom, change attributes from "read-only"(click the check box)
Now feel free to delete it.

could be that your CD you have cant delete, only with CDR+ can you delete data, in other words, its a recordable CD, but not rewritable
