well we broke up a month ago and have not spoken since...i left a few of my things thinking we were gonna get back together..well he was paying for my cell and today it was briefly disconnected. I thought i lost complete contact with him so i called and asked for my stuff he said there was no problem and i could go for my things. well i expected for him to be indifferent but he was nice and he asked how i have been...and he even said i he had a surprise for me. I of course acted indifferent and a little rude! I told him i have a phone of my own and he could go ahead and disconnect his!...he refused and told me he wanted to give me a surprise (it's "insurance" money) I am confused with his attitude! he was nice and almost seemed like he was kissing my a$$ because i was acting very careless...what the hell is going on in his mind? anny opinions???

Why did you two break up?? If it was you then he is just trying to hang on. If it was him then maybe he wasn't to sure or feels guilty for leaving you and may be trying to get you back. I guess it really depends on how you feel about him. I would suggest not talking to him for another month and see what he doesn after that. If he still tries to get with you, then maybe he still cares and if not then your better off. Either way you win and it will be your choice of what happens.

the only thing i can say is that if you are over this person, even though only been a month. do not let him get into your good graces and hurt you again. you may always think it will never happen, but you will be surprised what happens when picking at old wounds. sorry to be so negative, but just a warning to protect you in the end.

Well he's probably trying to get back with you.Noone gets someone "surprises" for nothing in return.He could have realized what he lost, reevaluated his life, and made a decision to treat you better regardless of whether he is with you or not, But thats not likely.If you don't want to get back with him...Stay away at all cost!!!
