Bible desecration angers Islamic leader

The actions of two Muslim students who urinated on a Bible and set it on fire were "stupid", a Victorian Islamic leader said.
Two Muslim students have been expelled from the East Preston Islamic College in Melbourne for urinating and spitting on a Bible and then setting it alight, News Ltd said.
A year seven student and a year nine student were expelled over the incident, which happened last week at a school camp.
What would you do? punish them more or something else?

I think the expulsion was enough for now. God will be there judge later. As far as the Islamic leader who got angry.... I wish there were more like him! Good for him, he knows right from wrong and there is no other better to point out the stupidity of what the students did than a leader of what they follow. To many have become confused with being Islamic and being an extremist!

If someone did the same thing to the Koran,there would be hell to pay,and the students would be made to apologise to Islamic leaders.Shouldn't those Muslim students be made to do the same thing,and apologise to Christian leaders?It's only fair.
I'm not nececssarily saying that the ounishment for desecrating a holy book shoud be what I outlined above,just that it should be the same ounishment every time,and not different standards for different faiths.

Some one said the guy was in school for 9 years.So he was a man not a child.
If this where my son,He would hurt for a very long time.
I am afraid I would tear him up so bad only God could find the pieces.
Any religion deserves respect for their Holy Book.
But then my finding for people that would do something like this. They put no value on anything out side them self.And none on a humans life.

Yeah they're stupid and disrespectful , and give shame to Islam ..The samething with the christian hindhus and jews who does the same thing to Quran . Stupid Disrespectful And A BAD news to their own religion. My suggestion punish everyone with the same attitude despite of what religion they are...Not a racist are u ? hehehe. This type of behavior (regardless of one's particular faith) should not be tolerated. This should infuriate Muslims and Christians alike. As should the defacement of the Holy Qu'ran or any other sacred scriptures.

Hell yeah I'd punish them. I'd fuckin kick their ass straight up. Just like if I burned a Torah or a Koran I'd expect to get my ass kicked. That **** is not acceptable, those bastards.
Besides, that was the most retarded thing they could've done to try to show their religion is better. It just showed everyone that Muslims are violent and stupid, a horrid way to represent your religion.

As a seventh grader I just finished studying ANCIENT ISLAM and learned that Muslims consider(ed) Christians and Jews as "People of the Book" which would be their Qur'an. So those Muslims were plain idiots to do so, as a true Muslim who read the Qur'an would know not to do that.

They don't really represent Muslims very well. That one guy WAS in college for 9 years. Any stupid person is capable of doing stupid things. I know Christians who've done worse...

Being an Atheist, to even come close to offending me it would have had to have been a copy of The Origin of Species. Being an American, I accept that other people will feel that way about things I care about, and gladly accept that they are free to do this, just as I am free to do it to their holy book.
