I dont care what the laws are, this is the US and there are laws that contradict everything, but I personnaly think it is up to the mother, granted they are well educated on all the ends of it, the pos. and negatives, and shown that it can even damage her own emotional or mental state. It is a tough thing to kill a piece of you, but if the circumstances show it cannot live a proper life, then I think it would be unfair to bring a child into the world.
I have personnaly considered abortion because of my finanial and physical condition at the time, but I chose to keep it, and am happy, Alot can happen in 9 months. we've gone from being homeless to having a roof over our heads, and food in our stomachs, a big step. You could become a millionair in a second, would you want to abort your kid because you dont have enough money, then a minute later win like publishers clearing house, and be set for life??? Wouldnt you feel like crap?
I personnaly enjoy every minute that i get to spend with my daughter, even if she is the most anoying screeming child, it makes up for it when she smiles and walks around the house saysing "mommy, mommy, mommy" Or when she learns a new word, and cant stop saying it for a day! We tried to teach her "britches" but it comes out way to wrong, so for a day she went around saying a word everyone thought was dirty! It;s cute, and I would rather live with her, than without her. I love her so much.
I know that if you have a kid already, you are most likely to stay away from abortion.

You are right. It is Lacy and Conners Law (I believe, and this is why they were able to charge Scott Peterson with TWO charges of murder). However, I think that if it resulted from a car accident, more would be looked at than just the fact that an unborn child was killed. For example, was the mother at fault, did she run the red light? Was the other driver drinking? Did the other driver take his eyes away to look for a cd or answer the phone? They would definately take all of these and more into consideration when deciding if charges should be filed. And the mother would probably only be able to file a civil lawsuit against the driver. It would probably be up to the DA to bring criminal charges.

Every woman has the right to choose, I agree that the fathers opinion should be taken into consideration, he also made the child, baby or fetus (you choose). If a mother can leave a man to raise a child on her own, then a man should be able to expect a woman to carry to term and deliver if he chooses to raise the child himself, however, if both parties agree, or if the woman was not willing to participate in the act of getting pregnant, a couple should have the right to choose to abort the fetus. Why bring a child into the world if you are going to put the burden of raising that child on someone else by giving it up for adoption? Besides, how many children actually get adopted each year anyway, not as many as are put up for adoption.

if the country law does no accept abortion and the police knew where the pregnant woman is going, its another problem.
As for the pregnant woman, if she still has an ounce of dignity and conscience, it is wise to press charges because she did not expect her baby to die in this way. (Sounds harsh) but if she really didn't care for the baby, she shouldn't press charges because it doesn't matter to her, the baby is going to be aborted anyway.

I actual have a query for you....say your 13 yo daughter gets RAPED possibly even by employing a relatives member and could become pregnant? Then what the hell do you do (this got here approximately to my maximum suitable buddy)?. if so, in case you're raped by employing a stranger, and grow to be pregnant...do you think of which you would be able to desire to enhance the newborn as a loving parent and not harbor resentment in the direction of that newborn? i do no longer think in abortion as 'delivery administration', yet I do experience that there are some issues that would desire to be considered formerly all and sundry is judged for having an abortion. To be user-friendly, I had an appointment to have an abortion as quickly as I have been given pregnant on the age of 18....my buddy, who grow to be additionally pregnant begged me to confirm her OB, after that examination there grow to be no way i'd desire to do it, I now have a sixteen yo. son who i could no longer think of existence devoid of him. additionally, as a female, I actual have the superb to chosen what I do to MY physique, no longer have somebody else, a guy no much less, make those judgements for me. i might fairly have abortion be criminal than for a youthful female to finally end up hacked by employing some decrease back alley butcher! This subject count is like beating a dull horse, all of us have our own opinion and till the two one persons is confronted with the subject in my opinion, no you may nevertheless make any judgement.

I am for abortion. It is every woman's right to choose. I do not think that abortion is murder, it is a medical procedure. A baby is not a baby until it is born. That is why they refer to it as a FETUS.
I would be pressing charges against someone that caused me to wreck..wouldn't you?

I am against abortion. I do not believe that it is right. I also do not think the rule should be allowed. The driver of the car that hit the other car should not be charged with murder. It is not like they intentionally tried to kill the baby. It is stupid.

I totally agree with you, I think abortion is wrong and shouldn't be done by anyone, anytime, anywhere. Even if you can't take care of the baby, you can give it up for adoption, come on, it's not the baby's falt that you made a mistake. Now your baby has to pay for YOUR mistake by dying. That is so unfair!!! Give the baby a chance to live. I'm with you 100% on this subject.

I think there are some cases when abortion is OK, like a case of rape, incest, known severe birth defects. But it should not be used as a form of birth control just because a couple messes up and gets pregnant.

Abortion is a piss poor excuse to not own up to your responsibilities. I love how the feminists completely took the men out of the decision making process. Bunch of Nazis. It shouldn't be prosecuted as "murder" but vehicular man slaughter. Doctors who perform abortions are disavowing their hippocratic oath of "Do no harm."
