the church has a lot to do with christ because they are ment to spread his word and if he loves gays then the church should love them too

God loves everyone BUT if you are homosexual then you are sinning and you won't be accepted into Heaven.
As any parent knows their children are going to mess up and as a parent you will have to punish them. Does this mean you stop loving them as soon as they made the choice to do something that got them into trouble? Of course not, but you discipline them because they need to be brought back on course.
So God may still love you even if you choose to be gay but there is no way he is letting you into Heaven. That is your punishment.

hey.. its not right to say that the church hates gays. The church is defined by some ppl, who do not have the love of God? they dont hate the gays. mayb they are saying they dont like what they do. A true Christian, will not come to a gay and hate him. He will love him and pray for him.

I just read that homosexuality is a disease.
Since when did Christians have PHDs? They are not doctors. I don't think the pope studied medicine.
Jesus hates gays because the Christian religion is unwaveringly close-minded and prejudiced.
It's also why they persecute others then claim they are persecuted.
I hope you find the answer you're looking for, and don't listen to the creepy people who tell you that homosexuality can be cured or changed. That's just... really sick.

He does not hate gays He hates the sin and nothing more than that.As Christians we should show love (JESUS) not hate to the whole world not just the churches,this includes gays.

Jesus doesn't hate anyone. Jesus was always hanging out with societal rejects...the poor, the gays, etc. People interpret the Bible any way they want to. If you look at the book of Leviticus, there are a bunch of things that God supposedly condemns, such as wearing the wrong fabrics together, etc. Jesus does not care what your sexual orientation is.

We have all sinned. You, me, gays, straights. As such, none of us are fit to go to heaven before a righteous and holy God. You need your sins forgiven, washed away, atoned for. The Bible says that is only available through faith in Christ.
The Bible says that God demonstrated His love for us in this, while we were yet sinners, Christ die for us; paying the penalty for sin. He loves you and me and every homosexual so much that he died for us!
Homosexuality is a sin. Adultry is a sin. Lust is a sin. Hate is a sin. Stealing is a sin. We ALL have sinned! And God hates sin! But He loves the sinner and wants ALL to believe in Jesus Christ, receive forgiveness of sin and eternal life.
It's that simple. It's that beautiful.

God hates sin!!!!! He loves everyone. He made you. Churches should love everyone, including Gays. But if they will not turn from their sin then it is like any other unsaved person. You cannot make them feel like they are going to heaven Jesus said no Liar, Homosexual will enter into Heaven. Pray for them. We do not need to pick on them. Treat it like any other sin.
