He is about 56 and at times he'll go to the casino almost 3 times a week. He keeps losing and I tell that he should reduce the times he goes to the casino. (He is stubborn) Usually he goes right after work.

he'll go to the casino almost 3 times a week. He keeps losing and I tell that he should reduce the times he goes to the casino. Most of the time he is in denial when he says he loses money. I know when i ask him to pick up some food and he withdraws from the bank. I got instinct feelings when he goes and it 2/3 times ill catch him. Any ways to help w/o pissing him off?

Perhaps you could leave him some info on additions to gambling.You could also try to get him to understand how upset this is making you.

I play poker about eight hours a day. I also win a decent amount of cash. You should talk to him and make sure you understand the situation before you make conclusions. Many people assume I have a problem, but it doesn't interfere with my job or my health. I get my entertainment playing cards. So what?

Sounds like he's got an obsession. Have you suggested he seek counseling?
My Dad goes once a week and I think that's too many times.

from the place.
