Yes Advent is the 4 weeks time that leads up to Christmas. It is a time to prepare and make way the path of the Lord in your heart. Lots of soul searching is done (or is supposed to be done) and it is a time of reflection and lamentation because we are so evil and what can save us? Then HE comes into the world. I can just imagine the entire world went silent when he was born. Everything stopped for just a second. Every creature somehow knew that their creator was with them. Oh Holy Night!!
