I would say there is a very good chance that you will become addicted. And can you imagine the color of your teeth in just a few years.
Many ladies find it a turn off to be with someone that looks and smells of tobacco. And once you start to like cigars, can you quit them even if there is no nicotine?
Please, for me, don't do it.

any form of tobacco is bad for your health. your best solution to not get addicted is to never start.
if you do keep smoking them you probably will regret it later in life

Smoking just one won't do it. If you just plan to smoke one on a lark, you are okay. If you do it several more times, you are taking a chance on getting hooked.
By the way, to the posters talking about how bad cigars smell: From my experience, it's the cheap cigars that smell like that. Good cigars are a lot smoother. And no, one cigar won't destroy your health any more than one drink will rot your liver. I mean, I am all for maintaining good health, but let's be rational about this.

Probably cigars are far more toxic even though you you don't inhale. Cigars go through a different process when produced making more toxic they still contain nicotine you will absorb this through the linings in your mouth. In short you will become addicted to cigars and nicotine making you more likely to get others sources when needed like chew or cigarettes.

tobacco is tobacco and it contains nicotine...its also contains the same chemical that killed that russian spy...in smaller quantities of course but you wonder...does it build up over time? does it hid in your liver or kidneys or heart only to rise up in 10-15 yrs to strike you dead?....just wondering.
