how do i live with my father who has never been there and has just arrived from belize and has not tried to get in contact with me not one time. When i see him should i forgive hime or forever hold a grudge

You cant pick your family, you can only pick your friends. I wouldnt hold a grudge, but that doesnt mean you have to let him into your life either

Meet him with an open mind, see how things go. I hope they go well for you and that you are able to forgive him. He may have a very good reason of his own

try to forget that, maybe he couldn't, don't blame him for that. But if he could try to forget it, and try to make peace so you don't have to worry about living with him. Try to communicate and find out what he is intrested in, after all he is your dad, though my dad was gone 6 months at a time
