Nope, I used to take a 200mg capsule every night when I used to take it for insomnia, sometimes I took 2 of them.

It won't be a problem. The highest long-term dosage is 800mg. Sometimes doctors give up to 1000mg-1100mg but it's not recommended for long term usage. A low dosage anywhere from 100-200 helps you to sleep better. Between 300-800 it does inhibit some chemicals to form in your brain. It's known to cure from anxiety to psychosis. But I'd say 50mg or 100mg doesnt make that much of a difference.

Seroquel comes in numerous strengths, 50mg being on the low side. But if the 50mg isn't working for you, contact your doctor before increasing the dose. You may be taking other medicines also that more than 50mg might be unsafe.

It all depends on the person. I used to take twice that. You really should call your Doc before self medicating or you might end up with worse problems than a sleeping disorder! Just remember that all medications affect people different. But self medicating is always a bad thing.

I don't know, but taking twice the prescribed dose for any drug is very dangerous. Talk to your doctor before you do anything you might regret in the morning, if you wake up that is.
