PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!!!!!!
I love my boyfriend and he loves me. This Christmas we have no money. His job is paying just enough for his bills and I can't seem to find a job until next summer. I need to think of something cheap but meaningful or make something. I don't know what to do! We have been dating over 2 & 1/2 years and planning to get married in the future, maybe a year or so from now, so we are not just a temporary couple, it needs to be special. Please be serious, I can't even buy my family any presents, so I really need to think of something special for him. I can paint, write and make things on the computer. I cannot sing, play instruments or cook. Thanks!

Paint something that is associated with a place he enjoys or somewhere you have been together or hope to go. Whatever you make, value it. Take time with the presentation of the gift. Find the perfect box, wrapping (which you can make on the computer), and bow. Make a nice card and show off your writing skills on your message. These things show that you took your time and put some thought into the gift.

Yes, of course, especially if you're going to their home AND hope to be with him a lot longer. A hostess/family gift is fine, but, ask your boyfriend what other ideas he may have. A nice bottle of wine?, A poinsettia plant?, A gift card for dinner somewhere nice?, or maybe just a nicely framed photo of the two of you. Have fun and Merry Christmas!

I know why not pick a picture or take a picture of just you and your boyfriend together, and then make a really cool frame and frame it? Or if you don't mind spending some cash, buy a nice frame. You could also make him a sweet card and tell him how you feel about him, or write a poem and attach it to the frame:)
Good luck, and you're a sweet girl:)
Your boyfriend is lucky to have you!!!

Well you could paint him a picture, write him a poem.
Or take a picture of you guys and make a fancy frame for it and give it to him.
You could also use the computer to make him special coupons. ex. Good for 1 free kiss, or Redeemable for 1 Night at the Movies - I pay. use your imagination.

You should gather all the pictures that you guys have taken or ones that you have taken of him or yourself and put together a scrapbook of your relationship. You can use things from around the house that remind you of each other, really put your heart and soul into it. I have made several for my husband and he loves them because I go to the gym when he's working out and take pictures, i take pictures when we're just hanging out together so it's like a walk down memory lane.

How about giving him homemade 'coupons' that are good for different things. Examples:
This coupon is good for:
One back massage
One afternoon of football while I wait on you and serve you beer and snacks
One naughty night -- Your choice of activities
You get the idea. You have to be willing to redeem those coupons when he wants, though, with NO WHINING! ;-)
