Thanks for all of the response I've been receiving...some more details.

He runs loose in the backhouse w/ no carpet. He pees in a certain spot...sometimes he pees in his blanket randomly. He was paper trainned but then I ran out of the wee wee pads and let him pee in that little spot. I take him outside about 3 times a day and he likes to pee on a certain spot outside. He gets about two full small bowls of water a day. He's about 14 lbs.

He may be "marking" his territory. My male doberman urinates many times, several times a day. My female german shepherd will go behind him and urinate in the same spot.

Well... puppys do that but if you see that he started to pee even more that you should go to the vet. My coonhound when he was 9 month old, accidently aet many ibuprofen tablets from then his kidneys started to fail, he was peeing everywhere every 20 minutes, i am lucky to have a good vet clinic where he was for a week under intensive care and they helped him out. Now he is fine. I hope your dog is fine or at least got better, if dont , dont wait and go to the vet!!

He's satisfying a need to mark his territory and you keep erasing his markings. He's wondering what's wrong with you.

Take him outside more often. That way he'll notice that you don't erase the outdoor markings, so he'll try to save his pee for outdoor markings. A way to help train him to understand that territorial markings are for outside rather than inside is to take him outside more often--especially everytime he pees inside. Eventually, he'll learn to scratch on the door when he has the urge to either mark up the neighborhood or to just relieve himself because his bladder is full.

I am concerned for your little doggie.. He is too young for diabetes(normally) but it sure sounds like that is what he might have.. I had a cat(older) with diabetes and had to inject him twice a day... The other thing is a urinary track infection. .... I know vets are expensive but you should have the blood sugar tested(about $18) plus office visit and a urinary track(perhaps a urine test)...........................If it is diabetes,,,, you may have to inject the pet with Insulin once or twice a day with one or two or three units of insulin.. I got my needles(disposable needles)... the SMALL TYPE.. not the LONG ones and my insulin at Sam's club

If he seems to be drinking an excessive amonut of water a day and his urine is strong smelling then i would take him to the vets. Other than that i wouldnt worry, my doberman pees about 15 times a day and she is normal.

Is he potty trained? Thats what puppies do best. You have to potty train them. Get some puppy pads, wipe up some of his pee with one and lay it down. Show it to your puppy and he will soon get the idea that is where he needs to go potty. Once hes mastered going on the pad, slowly inch it closer and closer to the door with a fresh pad each time. Eventually, move it outside and he will soon get the idea. Worked for my puppy. Good luck on yours...

He may have a urinary tract infection. Take him to the vet because a UTI can be painful. Look for blood in the urine as well.

My advice would be to take him to a vet. No one is going to know what is wrong without taking alook at him. He may have something as simple as a bladder infection. I would take him to the vet. Just to be on the safe side. It is better to be safe than sorry.
