My best friend DID date my ex. And to be honest..it sucked. It really upset me. But I kinda realized, that I was no longer with him, and that I coulnd't "reserve" him. I knew how much they liked each other, and knew I couldn't do aynthing to sotp it, so I did my best to accept it, and be fine with it (even though alot of the time, i was very upset). And now, it's a while later, and they're still dating..and I got over it. I'm perfectly fine with it now.
I mean...if she relaly truly is your best friend..then hopefully, eventually, you'll be able to be the bigger person, and forgive her. and if not, eat lots of ice cream:), it's therapeutic.

Well first of she isn't a really good friend. But I have had that happen to me and I haven't talked to the girl in over a year. It killed me because I was told by her that she would never do anything like that. (We had a thing where if one friend dates a guy then he is off limits from the rest of the group.) But you have to take in consideration if the girl has been your friend for awhile and you really didn't like your ex. But you will always remember what she did.

My best friend and I have an agreement. We NEVER date each other's ex's. Its just something we agreed on when we both got divorced and started dating. But we do set each other up with our dates if we think they'll like them. But there has never been any hard feelings if it doesn't work out.

Hmm, well the part about you feeling more feminine that masculine put me off a bit. Not being incredibly masculine is fine but most girls don't like guys that view themselves as feminine. That part sort of went with the part about you going out of your way to make a girl happy, sorry but that does sound clingy and that is something girls definitely hate. Just try to not come off as this clingy, feminine, emotional, overly nice guy or you will have a hard time finding a gf.

this is probably not the answer that you want to hear, but I wouldn't care at all. your best friend is your best friend, and your ex is just that, your ex. he's not a part of your life anymore. and it might make you feel a little weird at first, but the guy is nothing to you. you don't even have to talk to him!
but if you don't feel like you can deal with it, tell your best friend, and ask her not to date him. and you can tell her all his faults too! that might make her a little more reluctant to date him.
Best Wishes

I would be furious, even if it happened ages ago. As a general rule of thumb, friends never date their friends' exes...especially if it's your best friend. obviously, there are exceptions to every rule. But in general, stay as far away from your best friends ex as possible!

TABOO!!! NO, your best friend should NEVER date your ex and visa versa. That is like your sister dating your ex...no way! Shouldn't be done. If they do, they are NOT your best friend!

If my best friend dated my ex, they wouldn't be my best friend anymore. That is a bridge you don't cross out of respect of being best friends. Dump them both and move forward.
