Date This Friday Dinner And Movie Or Just Movie?

...okay 17 years old... Taking out this girl from school, what should I do: Dinner and a movie, or A Movie then afterwards talk with her where ever, let it be driving around in my car or where ever else?
I'm worried because If we go to dinner then a movie I'm worried that at dinnner since this is a 1st date it may be a bit awkward and silent just because we dont really know eachother.... what do you think? any other suggestions of what to do after the movie, it will be a movie around 7-9 o clock pm so the mall is out after the movie as it will be closed? is just chatting in my car a good idea or?? P.S. It's winter...so not really any outside activities?

I think movies and dinner are so blah....try and find an activity that will having you guys laughing and talking....if you have a connection then take her to dinner or a coffee house to talk and get to know each other better.

first dates should always be about having fun. Take her to restaurant but only have appetizers. Something brief so you can catch a funny movie. You want to make sure she laughs a lot. If no movie then just talk over a long dinner. Ask what it was like growing up. Get her to talk about herself. Girls really like it when the guy is interested in them. Ask her about her family, hobbies, college, sports, current events. Just keep her talking and make her laugh and you'll have a great time and probably a second date.

Movies are never really the best first date because you can't actually just sit and talk. Think of things you want to talk about before the date and you'll be ok. Once you think of a few things, things just branch off. Something you or she says reminds you of something else and then you are on a different topic. I would do dinner then go get some ice cream or sit and talk somewhere.
