Lately I have been hearing on the news and tv shows that a lot of people are so much against same sex marriages. They are constantly talking about how wrong it is and how it will hurt the community. In my opinion, I really don't care what they do. It's not my life it's theirs. Why should we give a damn about the decisions they make?
What do u think?

I kinda don't care about the same sex marriage thing but at the same time I do. I don't care because it is really none of my business but I care because it is against my religion. True enough it is their life and they can do whatever it is that they want to do with it and live it the way that they want to live it. But at the same time its like the world itself is starting to take a turn for the worst with all of this destruction, crime rates rising, and it seems like the Revelations are coming true just like the Bible said it would. Like I said I don't really care but I'm more concerned about what will happen with people arguing against it and other issues than the issue itself.

If someone is against same sex marriage from a moral perspective, that's their prerogative. It may not be PC or trendy, but in this country every one of us has the freedom to believe whatever he or she likes.

Incidentally, for every nutjob who is genuinely hateful and violent toward gay people (and there certainly are some hateful wackos out there), there's a perfectly normal, principled person who simply has questions about the morality of same-sex marriage. This doesn't mean they hate gay people, any more than a person who is against corporal punishment hates parents who spank their children.

I think it's wrong. Why must everyone try and force their opinions on everyone else? It doesn't hurt anyone personally if a gay gets married. The gay will still be gay, whether he is married or not.

I mean, not too long ago African Americans were fighting this fight. White folks for some reason thought that if African Americans were given equal rights to them, the world would turn for the worse. "God hates *******," "God hates fags"....

It just seems like a certain portion of society needs to have something to gripe about at all times.

We should give a damn that it's currently illegal...we should give a damn that people (consenting adults) that care about one another aren't allowed to marry simply because they are of the same sex...their sexuality harms no one, their marraige would harm no one, but because of some backwards religious mythology and small minded, ignorant people, homosexual adults in love are denied what heteros have had for centuries.

That's what we should give a damn about...and do what we can to help change...if all (hu)men are created equal, why doesn't that include gays?

Live and let live. The "laws" on same sex marriage are going to be a non-matter in about 10 years. Everyone is going to recognise that love is love. And if they want to marry why shouldn't they. They should suffer like the rest of us!!!LOL

Well, I believe in "Live and let live"

I don't understand why people worry or care about things that don't directly effect their own live. Maybe, it's because the people who make a fuss out of it do NOT have a life.

alright, so i don't want to sound like a goody goody catholic boy, but seriously, people get married to have kids and help society and to live a life. 2 people of the same sex can't really do that. I don't care if two gay people are attracted to eachother, thats not a big deal, but getting married is a little over the top.

well if you were a true christian and you read the bible you would understand that its not for us to judge but you will also know that it is an abomination to GOD to be gay hope this sums it up and besides the world has more than enough problems we dont need to confuse our kids any more into thinknig that being gay is ok there is a true meaning why GOD created Adam and Eve

I don't care what they do behind closed doors.. they are both consenting adults, so it's their choice.. but if they want to adopt, they're involving a third person into the situation and I don't really agree with that..

I think most of the people think god dose like it and although i believe he doesn't he still loves them and it is really none of anyone beeswax's but the person who made the decisions to marry.
