I suppose you mean the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe or in other words the NATO headquarters in Europe? I know it's located in Bergen/Mons.

What time of information would you like? I grew up at SHAPE and worked there for a few years. I moved away for about 7 years but I've been back since Feb and will be here til March. Its a pretty small base but quite a unique experience as you'll be dealing with people from all over Europe (and of course US and Canadian troops). I don't agree with Spaceball comment about people's attitude - it really depends on your own attitude. If you're friendly and try to learn even just a couple words of French (that's what spoken around here), you'll find people will usually help you out. Other than that, Belgium is in a pretty ideal location for travelling through Europe as its centrally located.
Just let me know if you want any more specific answers.

I was there in Sept. and everything seemed good. There is a bit of an attitude about the people, but that's probably just the french in them. Though, I was only in Brussels for a couple of days. I imagine it gets better if your there longer.
