i chose these because of the Adaptalite technology which the lens change tint in different lighting conditions. know any others glasses that do that but cheaper?

i dont need anything fancy like the oRokr (not that i can afford it anyway) its just not something i would use.

They basically are the same, except the Chicano are slightly more durable, whereas the HalfTime have slightly less obstruction of view. Both have lifetime warranties. Since you seem to be one to ride hard on trails, I suggest the Chicano.

I have one of the road versions, they continue to amaze me.

I like the way the Chicane looks. I like the Tarzo and San Remo too.

I personally like Rudy Project sunglasses. Mine have been very durable, have excellent optics (way better than Oakleys that I have tried) and have Italian style. Besides, they protected my brother's eyes during Iraqi sandstorms and blazing sun when he was serving over there (Army). He swears by them too.

go down to the local optical discounter and get the $40 specials and spend the rest on a decent used bike for a poor kid.

sheesh whatever happened to the Christmas spirit?

I love my Specialized Arc optics... but they are a bit pricey.
I have also used Bolle and Tifosi, but neither are as sturdy as the Specialized.

All I have to say is try them both on the one that fits your personality (and face) is probably your best choice.
