Don't be ridiculous! You can't force love on anyone! By making a consciouse attempt to make Luke love you, you will probably only creep him out and drive him away. Your best bet is just to be yourself. Be friendly, smile, perhaps even flirt a bit to let him know you're interested. But don't act desperate! If it starts to happen, great, but if not, well...it's not the end of the world. Just move on and next thing you know, a wonderful new man will be in your life and you'll forget all about Luke.
