Umm... it's not that hard to learn. About a third of the letters are the same or similar to our letters, and another third or so are not, but are based on greek letters which you might be familiar with (at least pi). If you try to write your name and your friend's names in Cyrillic, you will start to get the hang of it. I think writing it over and over is the best way to learn, especially script, which is more difficult.
