Your best bet would be to visit a dermatologist. It's not worth risking damage to your face.

Switch to an oil-free, non-comedogenic cleanser, but since you have a darker complexion stay away from anything with benzoyl peroxide which could affect your skin's pigmentation. Try exfoliating once a week also. You can buy both of these type products at the local supermarket. But if you continue to have this problem, I recommend seeing a dermatologist.
