There is the girl at my work that I kinda have a crush on. I ran into her one time at a night club and we took a picture together. About 2 weeks later I showed my friend at work that picture and he went and told her that I liked her; he also told her that I have that picture as my desktop wallpaper on my computer…which was really a lie. Today I seen one of her friends, and they started telling me that they heard I like this particular person, and that they heard I had her as my desktop wallpaper. I went to confront my friend about the situation and asked him why he said all that stuff and of course he denied it and said her friends were starting rumors. My friend said that he was going to talk to this girl and clear things up…Well after he talked to her he came to me and told me that she doesn’t want to talk to me anymore….I cant figure out why.. I didn’t even say anything to her, and yeah I think I like her, but I am so embarrassed to even see her now. What should I do…?

Looks like your friend also likes the girl you work with. He is probably jealous and wanted to make sure she never talks to you again. He also probably told her some other things you are not aware of. Good luck with that!

Do you want me to tell you the honest truth about crushs, ok while you have a crush on someone thats ok as everyone sometime in there life has a crush on someone, fair enough some might denie it but it's a true fact. I can tell you know straight out that having a crush on someone is painful & you eventually get heart broken really bad in the end. It's happened to me & many others I know.

that girls probably doesnt want to talk to you anymore because she thinks (because of those rumors) that you want to "play around" with girls and dont take them seriously. you dont seem like the type of person to do that, but because of your friend's rumors is probably why she doesn't want to talk to you anymore. maybe you should either crush on a different girl or else confront her tell her you didn't say those things; you friend started rumors

I would all 3 of you get together or even just you and just let her know you have no idea whats going on but you would like to and you're both adults and that this is just ridiculous to act this way

you just have to be honest with the girl and tell her what is really going on. it may be uncomfortable but i think you will both feel better once everything is cleared up. and tell your "friend" to butt out! he obviously has a crush on the same girl and just doesnt want you to have her, or he thinks she is wrong for you. but the only way to find out for sure is to ask him yourself

you have to wipe the slate clean before it all gets out of hand you have to tell her youre freind and her freinds have been mixing it and then tell her you like her has a freind and then start from there and let her get to know you first freinds become lovers but lovers dont become freinds

you should have went to clear things up on your own instead of your friend. theres really nothing you can do if you can' teven talk to the chick. you have to suck it up and just clear the whole thing up. she should hear it from you not someone else.

I think you should write her a note. Bring a present with it. Put it on her desk, and wait until she reads it. Write something good or else she will get mad again.
