coffee contain caffeine. that will make some people nervous, and not others. the nervousness happens suddenly because the caffeine goes into your system fast.
have decaf or switch to tea. tea has very little caffeine
soda, like coke and Pepsi has caffeine, so you might get the same feeling when you drink soda

It may not be the coffee. If you continue this and get really irrational, moody, energetic and eat a lot and don't gain weight, have your thyroid checked. Classic symptoms of hyperthyroidism. so, give it a few days. maybe cut out the coffee. It can really aggrivate the problem if that is it. Make sure nothing else has changed like an antihistamine or other medication that you may be taking. Coffee can react to those things too. Good luck.

You are not alone yes, I am a talker, I am also currently studying nursing and sometimes I think the other students are thinking if i wouldn't talk so much we'd get out of class earlier. I feel often that people get annoyed maybe, I don't know. I just get excited and blurt things out as well. Oh well it's better than never talking at all. I try not to care, but I do. Maybe we'll get a little bit of insight from the other answers. ~Trouble~ I liked your answer I call it word vomit

Caffine is the culprit.... it gives you a boost of energy that resembles an addrennaline rush which is often mistaken for being nervous. It isn't anything to worry about. Being nervous is a "mental" state. If it seems to be too much to handle, switch to decaf.

It is the caffeine in the coffee. It acts as a nerve stimulant.

Coffee might but equal sweetener is more likely the cause.
Aspartame is freaky bad stuff, and equal has it. Avoid it at all costs.

Somtimes I get shaky. It's probably the caffeine. Do you tend to feel it on days you haven't eaten?
