It can definitely be difficult when the readiness of each person is different. Sex should NOT happen unless BOTH are ready.
If the relationship falls apart because one person doesn't want to have sex, it wasn't a good enough relationship to keep, anyway.

It takes two to have sex. So, both must be ready. If one is ready and the other is not then there should be NO sex in the relationship. No, the relationship should not suffer from lack of sex. If it does, then it's not the type of relationship you would want to remain in. (I don't care how GREAT you think the guy is) An adult relationship is about respect. If one doesn't want to have sex respect their wishes.

It all does depend on when your both ready!!!!!
But if one is ready and da otha is not theres a problem.
if da person cares about u enough to wait until u r ready then they r da one, but if their not willing and just trying to get a quick nut, then there not worth the time.
i guess u need to sit down and talk to the other.
to many people try to have sex just to keep the next person. or they think their missing out, which they r not!!!!!
sex is an emotional thing for a girl and it should be discussed, and planned out because once its done u can get back ur purity. and u dfinently don't want to regret your first, it has to be special!!!!!

If one is ready and the other one isn't, then the one who is ready should wait if they care about the other person. I wanted sex a few months before my gf did, but I care about her more than just that so I waited. We started having sex just over 11 months into our relationship.

First off... you both should be protected and prepared( birth control and or condoms) I think both people should talk about their feelings and if you both are ready do what you feel is appropriate. The relationship shouldn't fall apart, because it should be based on more than just sex.

No time limit. It is not a race. It is something you and the other person should feel totally comfortable with. Whether you wait 2 hours, 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years. It is not a timed event it is all about comfort!

Yes, it is really hard to have sex to the person you doesnt like. Even if you have relationship with him. Your feeling for him will not last for long. WHat your partner feels is simply lust or desire. And your feelings is just an admiration. Have sex to your lover in life.

I don't think there needs to be a timeline. Whenever you feel ready and are comfotable. Communication is key.
It can be difficult if one partner wants to have sex and the other doesn't, but hopefully they would both be mature enought to respect each others reasons.

I think it all depends if both are willing to take the relationship t othe next level. Are you? Is he? I dont think it will ruin the relationship if one wants to and the other doesnt, if you guys really care for one another sex shouldnt matter.
