We just got an adorable all white Lhasa Apso puppy and we can't think of a good name for her. I'd like to either give her a cool Tibetan name, (as that is where the breed originated) or a name that signifies a white fluffy animal. Some names that we have come up with so far (and vetoed) are Panda, Snowy, Snowbelle, or Shiver. Nothing too girly, or cutesy! I'd really appreciate some suggestions! Thanks!

I really like Snowbelle! Too bad it was vetoed! Check out this site! http://tibbies.net/reference/tibnames.html
It has a lot of tibetan names for a pet. Kaba is the tibetan word for "snow"!

I used to have a white Lhasa Apso puppy!!! I loved her so much!!!
I named her gypsy. I know it doesn't really resemble anything white, but it is still a cute name. Have fun with your new pup!!! : )

no one should name your puppy except you. down the road, don't you think you might regret letting someone you never even met name your dog? if you can't think of a name now, call your dog "puppy" until you do....however, you might try these ideas to come up with a name: name your puppy after a behavoir he/she does, or, go to a language translation site, type in a few names/words that describe your puppy and..? just remember there is no hurry.

Just wait, and something wierd will happen so you will get a good Idea. That always happens when I get a dog; just make sure you name it 100 days after it's born.

i think blanca is a good name cuz it means white and it's not to girly. i wouldn't go with bolonco ( noregian version of white) though because it sounds kind of boyish. i like bolonco but definately not a girl name
