What are your triggers? What is it like for you. I know well enough what I go through - just wanting to see how it compares.

My triggers are: driving (thoughts of passing out), being sick (thoughts of having something really bad wrong with me), going in a busy place (thoughts of fainting and looking like an idiot). My symptoms range from sweats, nausea, shaking, lightheartedness, and fear of dying.

It sure reads like GAD. If you can't see psych (30% success rate anyhow) then you probably can't see a Doc. The only thing left is a change in diet but you will need to want to do it. Only natural food (no sugar, carbs',chemicals). This must be combined with a daily exercise routine. Find something you can enjoy. Running would be good in your case because it releases endorphins (natural drug) but you will need to start by walking an work up to it slowly. A sport is possbile You are going to resist the exercise at first until a couple weeks pass and then you will start to feel the natural endorphins kick in. I think this will do more than the Pharms and Psychs.

I do. Christmas season is just hell. I have 3 parties to go to, and I'm a nervous wreck. I can't sleep. I'm trying to think of things to say to people that won't make me look like an idiot.

I also worry to no end about parties that I have gone to. Did I do something stupid? I shouldn't have said that. Why can't I be cool like them.

I suffer from heart palpitations and insomnia, too.
