How long is too long? no reason i just want to know.

They should go out as long as they feel it is rihgt and natural, im a freshman and me and my girl have been going out for about 2 months but we both think it will become serious and we might date a lot longer. But in your case just date the person until you think the relationship has hit a dead end.

Middle school when going out you should not take it serious... you can, which is not a bad thing, but you want to date other people, and not just stick with one person from your middle school years and on from there.

Hi I am in 7th grade and I would say at the most 2 months but if you really feel strong about him keep going out but. Its good to not just stick with one person. You should have lots of options. It gets boring after a while because its not like your datind for mariage.

honestly, i dont think kids in middle school take it to seriously
they just do it to say "im going out with" and "hes my boyfriend"
