Do you have a car? Go to your bank & see if they'll give you a secured loan on the value of the car. Make the payments on time every time. When it's all paid up, ask your bank for a credit card with a small credit line. By then, you'll already have good credit with them.

Besides Orchard Bank, Credit One and First Premier bank offer credit cards that carry an annual fee, plus an activation fee to start up your account. For example. If you get a card for $300.00 your available credit will be approx. $100.00- $150.00, depending on the fees. From there, make sure you always pay on time, and if possible, the total amount each month. After about a year, you should be able to apply for a regular card. Good luck.

you probably have to get what is called a "secure card" . thats a credit card that requires a upfront fee which is put into an account and used as collateral in case you can't pay the bill. the fee is usually about $100 and there may also be annual fees (those will be put on your bill once you get your card)

Orchard Bank specializes in giving these cards and others to people with bad or no credit. They report your payments every month to the credit bureaus and that helps build your credit and show that you are responsible.

A lot of companies won't give you a credit card without any credit at all. Not enough credit means you have some credit. I don't see why that would be a problem.

you can apply online or through your bank. You need to have good credit or else they will deny you. You also need to make sure you are mature & responsible enough. Credit cards can put you into trouble. So, before you get one....make sure you are able to pay for it. Get a job first.
