I'll tell you this much. I just found this information out not too long ago, and it looks like you're very concerned about the health of your poodle.
If I were you I would not feed my poodle any commercial food again. There are things in the ingredients that can kill your baby in the long run. First of all, you have to be very careful of what you feed your doggie and read the ingredients in every dog food you plan on feeding. These are the ingredients you should avoid.
NO CORN, WHEAT, AND SOY: Why? Dog companies have to pass a certain amount of protein in their dog food in order for it to be approved and sold in stores. These are the cheapest forms of protein and it's only a filler to dog food because these ingredients can be indigestible for your dogs kidneys and can only cause kidney failure in the long run. This is one of the many reasons why they poop a lot.
NO ANIMAL BY PRODUCTS OR MEAT BY PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND: Why? Because this is the most disgusting thing you can feed your pooch. You may find this following information a little hard to swallow, but it's the truth. Animal by products is anything and everything that's left of an animal. It is whatever is left that is not fit for human consumption. It can be anything from teeth, to hooves, to hair, and to feces. It is a known fact that even euthanized dogs and road kill are in animal by products. Some veterinarian hospitals sign a contract to a redendering facility shipping any euthanized pet that was not taken for burial by their owners to be grinded up into dog food. It is also expensive for them to remove the pet collars and tags so the items are also included in the by product meal. The poison that is used to euthanized the pet is still in the body that is fed to your dog, making your dogs potential cannibals and decreasing their life span.
And finally DO NOT FEED YOUR PET anything that contains Exotoquin (sp?), BHA and BHT. Those are poison that's used to "preserve" your dog food and can only do major damage later on in life.
So those are harmful for your pet. Also, obviously don't feed your dog chocolate of any kind or quantity. I would switch to holistic food that has none of the above ingredients and that have human grade meat (meat that's fit for human consumption). I feed my dog these brands: Canidae, Wellness, and Innova Evo. Canidae is the cheapest out of those brands and it costs just as much as the commerical food but it's way healthier. I hope I helped you out with this information and good luck with your companion. :)

chocolate, onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, pork this is just a few things that are definite "no" "no's" but your best bet is to stick with dog food and dog treats unless recommended by your vet. I have a small breed dog and she does like a little white meat turkey during the holidays and occasionally some white meat chicken I also put chopped baby carrots and peanut butter in her Kong. But this people food has all been approved by her vet.

Anything not specifically formulated for a small breed will be difficult for her to digest or may not provide the nutrients necessary for her.
Dog's shouldn't eat human food so I won't bother listing the specifics other than no onions or chocolate.
We feed our small breeds Artemis food. It's a top dog food.

Onions, grapes, chocolate, ANYthing with caffeine in it. Though I use really outrageous treats when I'm training my dogs (steak, cheese, smoked salmon, peanut butter) I don't overdo it. These treats don't make up the majority of their diet.
Below is a link from the ASPCA that gives a great overview of food and substances to avoid:

It is always best to avoid all people food, especially with small dogs because once they prefer it, it's very hard to get them to eat dog food.
Check out www.dogfoodanalysis.com to see how foods are ranked and what quality ingredients they have.

well its obvious but NEVER give dogs chocolate, it makes them sick and it messes up their immune system
also dont give your dog formulas that are meant for larger breeds. give her the right formula because larger dog foods have special nutrients for larger dogs and it might be to much for her.
also if she is inside the house a lot get indoor dog formulas :)
