My mother was recently diagnosed, she is on her 3rd of 10 days of radiation, with no change. She has extreme loss of function on her right side, and can no longer walk. What is the chances of her getting better?
She just got done with chemotherapy after having her left lung removed full of cancer.

I know it's not good, but realistically does she have a chance of pulling out of this?

I have seen identical and similar cases. But radiation of 10 sittings would not be sufficient. At least 28-30 days of radiation is necessary. Anyway your Oncologist is the best Judge to decide. The position is very serious and she may slip into coma and anything may happen anytime. I sincerely pray for her to recover though the chances are very remote. Let some miracle happen. but please continue with the treatment.-

With a miracle from God yes. Otherwise I am sorry to say it sounds like the cancer has mestatised (spread) from the lungs to the brain and possibly elsewhere. Not good at all.

I'm sorry to hear of her troubles.
It depends on the type of cancer and how far it has spread.
Some cancers respond to chemo & radiation better than others.
Your Oncologist can give you a much better idea than we can.
Good Luck & God Bless .
