Oh dude I have those too!! I know they are really stupid!! What I do is I put lotion on them and they will start to go away it's just dry skin!! I would recomend that you buy special lotion I have Ku Ku Nut and Hemp buter they work really good!! So just use normal lotion until u can get some real good medicaded lotion like Ku Ku Nut or Hemp butter you can get both of them from ebay. ST. Ives works really good too!!! Well I hope I helped!! Thanks!!

You probably have Keratosis Pilaris...fancy medical term for bumpy arms or chicken skin. Defined as:

Keratosis Pilaris is a common skin condition characterized by small, red bumps primarily on the back and upper arms. The Keratosis Pilaris kit will help reduce these symptoms. The 2 step system incorporates intensive glycolic acid levels to rid the skin of unsightly bumps. The Exfoliating Body Wash cleanses and exfoliates the skin. The Body Lotion, used in conjunction with the Exfoliating Body Wash, smoothes away those rough bumps to reveal smooth, supple skin.

It is due to your skin being too thick (which worsens when it is dry and you aren't exfoliating) to allow the pores to breathe...so it creates little bumps. Unfortunately, it can't be cured...just treated forever with glycolic creams or serums that eat away (painlessly) at the top layer of skin. The more mosterized you keep your skin, the better as well.

There are a ton of products out there, KP kits or bumpy arm kits...I have listed a few I found that might help (haven't used any of them personally). My favorite is a glycolic 15% serum I get from my spa...it is straight and too the point and gets the job done WELL.

But whatever you do...don't pick or scratch at them! The scars are more noticable than the bumps.

Good luck!

I have had the same problem. It disgusts me. I researched & researched trying to find something that would work & I did find something that has worked for me. I realise it may not work for you or everyone out there. However, I bought Klear Action. I don't know if you've heard of it, but it compares to Proactiv yet it's 1/2 the price. It sales for $19.99 or that's what I bought it for at Walgreens. I'm not sure who else sales it but you can find it over the Internet. It comes with the 3 step process. You get your wash, your toner, & your lotion. It has really really cleared my skin up. I get a bump on occasion but for the most part I'm clear. My blackheads are even gone. I saw a difference & that it was working within 2 days. It wasn't all gone that quick but I saw a drastic change in my face and arms. I wash my face and arms twice a day in it most of the time, but there's days I only get one wash in. I hope this helps. Good Luck~

I have the same thing. I rub my hand over my upper arms and feel these rough spots. It feels like I can peel them off or rub them off and the rough spot is gone, but then it bleeds, these tiny bleeding spots. Then scabs and then a white scar is left. UGH. They DO NOT ITCH. I know hives, these are not hives. Maybe it is keratosis Pilaris.

You really need to read "Banish My Bumps" by Angela Steinberg (also available in electronic format here: http://www.banishbumps.com ). It's about how to permanently cure your Keratosis Pilaris naturally. I was able to clear my skin in only 7 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

They are like kepaliris or something. A common skin problem, you can't really get rid of them. Most people get them on there arms and like face. I have them, what I do if just exfoliate every other day with a body wash with beads on my arms, and I rub lotion on them and they are smooth.

It could be any number of things, a rash or even psoriasis. If they are bleeding so easily, stop scratching them altogether. Apply a skin ointment (Camphophenic) and if in a few days it doesn't clear or worsens, call a doc.

Are they on the backs of your upper arms? If so, I used to have the same thing. Mine were there for years, and immediately went away when I started going to the tanning bed regularly.....

They could be like little clogged pores. I have them on my arms and when you scratch or pick at them they bleed a little. They are'nt noticable and my doctor said they were just clogged pores(almost like little pimples but on your arms)
