I agreement with Bumbleboi, dogs can`t clean up themselves, so owners have too. Children are in habit of messing defer cation, but they in danger. Bugs into their eyes, from the mess. I clean up after my dogs, so other people do likewise.

Previous answer is the correct one - 'it is from eating bones'. It is not unnatural for dogs to eat bones, but inadvisable for owners to provide them as damage can be caused to the stomach lining and particularly the intestines. What makes the dog faeces white is the calcium content of the bones they have eaten.
Never give a dog chicken or poultry bones, or rib bones of any animal. These are more brittle and liable to shear into splinters. If you must provide bones, the safest bones are the large thigh bones of beef cattle that have a large quantity of bone marrow available. Cut pieces that include the ball-joint on the end can last a dog quite a while. Should the dog swallow a large piece of such bone whole it will cause the animal much discomfort for up to 24 hours but the bone WILL dissolve in the dog's powerful stomach acids. never try to induce vomiting as the dog will most likely then choke to death.
For safety, I believe that dog's should never be fed bones. It is much safer to include bonemeal (which is more digestible) in their diets.

It was dried up, you don't see it as much now because we have become hotter on people poop picking after their dogs. Animal faeces are highly dangerous to pregnant women, it can cause a condition called toxoplasmosis which can cause the foetus to be aborted. It's a good thing we no longer see much dog poo, white or any other colour!
