My wife and I went to Disneyland for under $700. We spent two days there with park hopper passes and stayed in a hotel that was literally a five minutes walk from the park entrance. We live in Las Vegas so it was a five hour drive, but we were married in Southern California and hit it up on the way. It might seem childish, but it was a lot of fun and created a lot of memories for us. Plus the surrounding area has other great parks and attractions. If you're getting married in the summer you're close to the beach and other ocean activities as well.

From where?
For how long?
For how many? (oops - that's the restaurant file-sorry).
The best way to get cheap is to go counter season. It's winter so go AK with the eskimos rather than the Bahamas.
There is a new passport law going into effect in 2007. The airlines are working to change it. If they can't Jamaica will be a steal. Be careful though. 1/2 is for tourist & 1/2 is no no.
Victoria - BC on the West Coast is nice.
Banff is fun. Jackson Hole used to be affordable, but no more so try Carson City. San Antonio has a nice variety of places. Think New Hampshire rather than New York.
Congrats and blessings for years of bliss.

Try state or national parks. 3 day 4 night cruises. Call around to your local AAA or travel agencys. Tell them how much you would like to spend for your honeymoon and tell them you would prefer an all inclusive trip for the both of you. They will know where to look instead of you spending and wasting time researching on the internet.

There are quite a few all-inclusives in Mexico that are cheap. Check Travelocity.com, and Expedia.com

Also like someone else said Florida is a good place to go cheaply. My husband and I are getting ready to drive to Florida for our honeymoon and we're visiting all of the parks, and staying for 2 weeks and we can pull it off for about $2500 (but you can easily cut that down to $2k) However we saved more than anticipated so we are doing a little more, but at first we planned on only $2500.

We went to a dude ranch in Arizona for our honeymoon. Best time ever, all inclusive and under $2k.

There are dude ranches from Montana all the way to New Mexico. They are all inclusive and a blast to go to. Before that I have been to two in Colorado.

Stay home in bed have weird kinky sex every opportunity eat rubbish. Have more sex eat more rubbish and drink lots of beer litter the bedroom with empties and pizza boxes. Then on 2 or 3rd day clean up go and spend a few days by the coast in a small hotel walk a bit eat out. Sounds perrrrrfect to me no pretending to be someone I'm not. Quite inexpensive and awesome fun good luck whatever you choose

Go to southwest.com and go to cruises and specials.

You should be able to do a 5 to 7 day cruise, including airfare, if you stick to an inside cabin and travel on the cheap-air-fare days.

Congratulations to you both!!!!

I would like to echo the previous person who said "Yosemite"

Even though you can do a Yosemite vacation "on the cheap"......it is mandatory that you spend at least ONE (or maybe TWO) nights at the "Ahwahnee Hotel" ........

at $300 per night, its truly one of the more expensive places to bed down......but its your HONEYMOON, dammit! If you stay at the less-pricey "Yosemite Lodge" ($150 per night).....make a side trip one morning the
Breakfast Buffet" ($20 per person) at the Ahwahnee hotel

Go to Puerto Rico! It's a great place to visit. They have great hotels and great beaches!! Go to www.expedia.com and check around for dates, you might get a good deal with plane tickets. I went last years for vacation and my ticket was only $188.00 round trip, can't beat that!
