How do i completly uninstall a program because all the program leave some parts of them still there, but I hate those things because they slow down the comp and take up space. So is there a way that i can track every single file that a program installs? Or is there a program that completly removes a program. (i don't mean control panel>Add/Remove). Any method is acceptable by me, I am very advanced with the computer. So please help me out any way you know how.

first go to the add an remove in your control panel and remove it from there and then go to your search progrm and open it up on your left hand side you will see a list of things to search for go to the" all files and folders " open that up and typ in the program that you just removed and if you are runing two hardrives have the search program look in the hard drive you use for your programs like me I have a 10 gig hard drive I use for prgrams and the jumper is set to master and then I have a 500 gig hard drive set as slave and there is no way a virus can get into the 500 gig hard drive unless I put it in there. well when you do the search ther will be hiden files that pop up that the add and remove program did not remove. right click on the ones that you wnt to get rid of and delete them then empty your recycle bin but make shure you are not deleteing some thing your computer uses to run

If you have a small enough hard drive that the computer is being slowed down by bits of programs, I suggest upgrading your hard drive.

As long as you have a couple of gigs free and the programs arn't spyware or something, it truely won't make a speed difference. Running a program like Adaware and switching to Firefox also do a world of difference.

once you remove a program goto Cdrive > Program File
there should be a file of with the name of the program you removed there

also start > search [all files and folders] > name of program and remove everything that comes up to do with it

sometimes a program will fall down between the grooves on a hard drive. turn it upside down and it will come back out so you can scrape it off with a putty knife.
