Today at gymnastics practice my friend got hurt and was really upset. We were walking through the halls and she was crying so I put my arms around her(in a friendly way) and told her to calm down. This guys who really, really likes me saw this and looked jealous. He asked me out b4 but I don't like him so I said no. Then his friend was like "dude, too bad that couldn't be you". Was he jealous of how my friend and I are really close??
Why??
Why would he be jealous?? She's my friend. Im not a lesbo so it's nothing more. We are just good friends. I have a b/f and it's not him, but one of his other friends. My friend is a girl, so why was he jealous??

He just admitted online he was jealous.

He was probably just jealous of the affection you were showing to your friend. It's strange I know but nobody can really explain why we get jealous let alone why we get jealous of certain things. I mean think about it men and women get jealous of a guys or girls friends all the time. Say you are spending a lot of time with your girlfriends and neglecting your boyfriend. He's probably going to get jealous. It's the same type of thing. This guy wants your affection but he's not getting it. You have a boyfriend though so it's his problem to deal with. Try not to lead him on though. Sometimes even by chatting with a guy or e-mailing him it gives him false hope he has a chance with us that he doesn't actually have.

You might as well just turn into a lesbo.
