Id be oblique and say something like "There were others, but none of them as special as you"
If he presses, say " The number doesn't matter as much as the feelings involved, as I feel for you"
If he presses, say "Really, get the hint buddy! This is none of your business!"

Well guys you've dated and guys you've slept with are entirely different things. And this is a very touchy subject because we always ask this question but we never really like hearing the answer despite what it is. I would say be honest ie, "I have dated several guys but definitely haven't slept with that many." Guys don't want to hear we've slept with seven, ten, or twenty some odd guys even if they've asked. Try to sugar coat is as much as you can and I'd ask him if this is something he really wants to get into and if it's going to bother him knowing? Because from my experience it bothers them more than they lead on ;)

Well if you are familiar with the statement "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"...that should help resolve your question...it really is not anyone's business who or how many people you have slept with...consider that if someone is most interested in that aspect of your life...they ar not focusing on the present you...and usually you can tell alot about a person based on their questions about your life...it would be more appropriate for someone who is interested in you to ask if you like chocolate ice cream or rocky road, theatre, music, horseback riding; things of that nature...one must consider the intellect and maturity of a person who has the audasity to ask such personal questions...is this someone who loves you or the "inquisition", ready to crucify you?...you deserve respect and honor from your special person...and they also in return...we all have a past...that is what has brought us to our today...that's just life and if someone cannot deal with a part of your past, they really are not fit to, or have the capacity to deal with your future...hope this helps.

i cant even lie and say yes because i lied and said the number was a lot less even though mmy number wasnt even high to begin with, but if it ever came down to it I would say next time 1 i'm sleeping with you and this is the future...you were not in the past so it doesnt matter

I would give an answer until we were dating. It's degrading telling some guy how many people you've been with, then a month later you're not talking anymore and you feel stupid for what he now knows.

Tell him the truth if your a tart tell him "I am a tart!" I think he has the right to know if he is dating a girl that has gone through the football team and the supporters.

I would tell the truth, b/c I have nothing to be ashamed of.

If you're ashamed, you could lie, but if you end up getting really serious and the truth comes out, that person may get mad that you lied.

I'd be totally honest, regardless of the number. I am who I am, and I've done what I've done. If any man thinks less of me for things I don't regret, then he's not worth my time.

And I'd hope he'd be just as open and honest with me.

no. they dont need to know. plus, you're not actually in a relationship with them, and they may abuse that if u tell them the truth. just tell them that u refuse to tell them and that it shouldnt matter how many guys you've dated or slept with.
