As a woman who has been involved in an interracial relationship for quite some time now, I obviously don't have a problem with it. It wasn't the color of his skin that interested me in the first place, it wasn't the deciding factor when I realized that I was in love with this man. I don't see how people can still consider it dating "outside your race" when he's human just like I am, so in my mind, we are of the exact same race. (the human race) I'm surprised that BabyDoll (I think that was her name) would turn down true love because of what people around her would think. I guess if you live life to please others, then it's all good. But this is my life and I will not live it according to ANYONE else's expectations but by own. Hopefully, BabyDoll will grow up and do the same one day. I would say that I agree with (most) everybody else here, as long as it's true love, don't let anything, especially something as petty as race/ethnicity, get in your way!!!
PS-We also have children and their racial background hasn't been an issue as of yet, but if and when the day comes, I'm confident that we have raised mentally strong, educated children. We've taught them to be proud of who they are and not let the ignorance that still exists overwhelm, hinder, or consume them.

I think it's wonderful and I encourage it. I wanted to interracial date, but when I first started dating, the guys I liked of other races didn't date white girls. I think it shows that they don't care about anything, that they value personality. By the way, nice hat!

I'm dating outside my race, and tell ya what; I've found it to be more of an asset than a liability. The things I've learned will stay with me for my whole life, even if (God Forbid!) the relationship were to end. I'm very much in love and so is he, and honestly, I don't think either one of us gave it a second thought, cause we pretty much didn't want to go on without being together.

I am not prejudice at all. My best friend is black. But ever since I was little I was taught that its ok to be friends, but nothing more. The one reason why I wouldn't do it. Is because you might be fine with it and he or she is fine with it. But everyone around you isn't fine with it. How about if the relationship goes so far and yall are really serious and you have kids. That baby is going to get put through so much crap, because he's mixed. Is it really worth it. I mean if you are in love then you are in love. But it just seems like so much crap to go through when you could have avoided it all together.

There's no problem with it, whether it's connection on a personal level, or if it's just a person's "taste" in other people, theres nothing wrong with it.
At first when I saw this title, I thought it echoed racism, but now i realize that the world is even more messed up. This age of political correctness is tedious and unneccesary.

Absolutely love it...as long as you're together for the love...not just to be an "interracial couple."
Nothing irks me more than seeing people dating just because they are different races. I'm sure their relationship won't last long.

I'm all for it. Minorities have equal rights (for the most part), so why not let them enjoy this one? I wouldnt date interracially myself, though — I'm only attracted to white guys for some reason.

No problem for me. I am Caucasian and my husband is African-American. It doesn't bother me one bit. You can't help who you fall in love with. I have a child from this marriage and she is beautiful and appreciates people for who they are and not the color of their skin. Filledebe you are an idiot.
