Hello my daughter is 12 years old and gets frequent migraines/headaches triggered by sunlight, exercise, and heat. When she runs her face turns extremely red and she is out of breath after 30 seconds of running.I don't know if she has asthma or not.She said one night she had extreme pressure in her left temple and she said that it felt like it "popped".She told me she has terrible pain but only for about a minute. Her face has been a tinted red ever since the incident and her face is almost always hot.Is this just asthma...or is this normal?Should I get this checked out by a doctor?

It could be some sort of extreme reaction to hormones. She is getting close to puberty and in some cases the hormones going though her body can make her feel any of those symptoms. Go see a doctor just to make sure.

Yes you should take this seriously. Take her to a doctor at once. A doctor is the only one that can say what he thinks is wrong. Your daughter should tell the doc all about the incident when something seemed to POP as well as all the other changes she has noticed. Also the headaches and hot face. Have you checked her for an elevated temperature? Has her blood pressure been checked at rest and while exercising? Then the rest should be determined by the doctor. Good Luck - I hope this helps.

Sounds like she is cutting major teeth, she may need a dentist instead of a doc.
This is the raging harmone age too,. She may be getting ready to menustrate soon.
Get her some childrens motrin or pms pills.
Allergies are a high time high....get her some claritin for allergies. and keep stuff animals , carpets, away from her and cats dog hairs.

Sounds more blood pressure related. Of course there are some people, especially children, that can have excercise induced asthma. Definitely have this checked out as it could be something more serious.

Get your doctor to the hospictal or doctor right away. It can be very serious and you can't joke around about this a on the computer asking about it. You need to get there right now! I AM NOT KIDDING. It can leave to bad things. Good Luck.

You should get her checked out right away. Better to be safe, than sorry. Doesn't sound like any of the things you mentioned.

theyre 12... they're... properly.... 12. there isnt something to describe why a particular age does something.. why do teen act tricky, whistle at women, and beat one yet another up?? they're young children.. theres no sickness..... they're basically little ones.
