I only live there third of the time
(the rest of the time I'm in London and South Africa)
But when I'm in Jerusalem the air is different and there is something so beautiful and special there...
I just hate the fact that there is always war there and that there isn't a solution for the political situation yet...
Israel would have been much nicer if Arabs and Jews could live together in peace, one way or another...

I do not think that once you live in a country it makes any difference if its a "holy country" or "the most beautiful country in the world" or number one tourist attraction (like Paris) you eat and work, sleep and go to work, you have a family (or not) you meet friends, you do not think every minute : where am I? Am I really living in a holy land? I think hardly anyone thinks about it unless something special comes up (a religious holiday, a bomb set by an Arab terrorists in Jerusalem etc.). Come and see for yourself.

I dont live there and I am not Jewish but I visit often as a Christian supporter of Israel.
It is the best place on earth in my opinion but as one said--its like many other places when it comes to working, daily life etc..
I have to agree that air in Jerusalem is awesome--each afternoon around 3 a breeze comes off the dead see creating that pink hue and freshness.
There is actually a scientific reason as the chemical elements act as a calming and refresher.

I don't live in Israel, but I'm Jewish and I've been there many times.
Going to Israel is spiritually uplifting because as you said, it is a holy land. People live by proper morales in Israel. It is definately a good place to live.

Well, Israel adds floride to the water, so actually people's teeth in Israel tend to be less Holey :)
Otherwise, tell me anywhere else in the work when within 500km you can go from cold ski resorts (golan) to lush groves (en gev) to humid mountain spectacles (Haifa) to lush valleys (gilboa) to human skyscraper clusters (tel aviv) to desert (negev) to sunshine and swimming and the best food around (Eilat)
