Today at gymnastics practice my friend got hurt and was really upset. We were walking through the halls and she was crying so I put my arms around her(in a friendly way) and told her to calm down. This guys who really, really likes me saw this and looked jealous.He asked me out b4 but I don't like him so I said no. Then his friend was like "dude, too bad that couldn't be you". Was he jealous of how my friend and I are really close??

Part of what is friend said was b/c I am dating their other friend. My friend just wants to know how jealous he was. She said he looked very jealous.

He or his friend probably thought, since you shot him down and that you're pretty "close" with your girl-friend, that you probably swing the other way.
do you like him now? is that why you care what he thinks/feels? or are you scared of what might start spreading around school?
if you were really are just a concerned friend, don't let it bother you. you know the truth behind the action you've done and making a big deal about his reaction might just make a small incident big. take care :)

there is no telling. Guys can ceep stuff to them selves! Like chris, the guy i am sharing this with, well it seems sometimes he dont tell me anything, and he is my best friend. He shouldnt be jeleous of you and your friend! thats just not right! If u said no, he has to esxcept that.

I don't think he is jealous about the closeness you have with your friend; I think he was referring to your physical closeness with your friend. He wished you put your arms around him...for whatever reason.

Don't give this dude any of your time.
He seems insecure. If it is two girls...it is because he is horny. If it is a girl and a boy..it is because he is insecure. Tell him to go suck his thumb like the little baby he is and move on with your life. He doesn't exist.

his friend said this to rub it in that hes not with you and cause hes a jack@ss like most guys are , but guys get jelous very easaly and sometimes for no reason. i wouldnt worry about it to much.

I don't think so. His friend was probably making him angry and bugging him, so that's why he looked angry. I mean, you would act the same way if your friend was like"you wish that could be you."
