I am searching for my brother and sister. My father was an American soldier stationed in Germany in the 1960's he met a german girl and they had 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl. He would never give us any details but we know that he was stationed in or near Hamburg. I know that he used to recieve letters from her but he kept them closely gaurded and we never had an oppertunity to read any of the letters or see the name or address on the envalope. I would like very much to meet this brother and sister, but i have no idea how to locate them with the little information that I have. If anyone can help me with this then please do.

Under the Freedom of Information Act you can get certain information. I am getting all my medical records from when my father was in the Air Force. He never kept any records of us, only himself. Where this is relating to family members, you may express your case when submitting a request for any information as to the dates you believe he was active and the nearest location you believe he was stationed at. Military.com may have some advice as well. Another website is: militarybrat.com.
