Krista13 is on the right track. You must first be the leader of your dogs and of the house, if there is someone else that is the leader of the house ask them to help for the first stages. If they fight immediately when introduced you can try a couple of different things. This should be done by a trained pro but if you can't do that then lets see what you can do. If you do not feel that you are in control of your dog don't try this, a 9 month old German Shepperd is about 70 pounds or so I'm guessing so that might be too big for you... Do not use leashes, do not show fear. Keep the younger dog near you and when the older one tries to be aggressive you stop him by using you hand to poke him firmly near his neck area, and say no. If he is very aggressive you must grab him and put him on his back while your younger dog is still next to you, no leashes, a second person might come in handy. once you older dog submits try again. Dog behavior is easy to read, chest out, tail high, eyes focused, means your dog is being dominant, do not allow it ever. If you establish it immediately, a couple of days and all should be about good for you. Shepard's are smart dogs and will do as their leader tells them.

I have had each small and medium dimension puppies (as many as 5 at one time) and they have got all gotten alongside relatively good. I feel that you are going to uncover that they are going to determine their possess pecking order, to be able to talk, with the primary puppy within the condo being the alpha. Right now I have a daschound and a minature poodle, a French mastaf, and a medium dimension combined breed mutt. The poodle is approximately 12 years historic, blind and deaf, however in any other case in well wellness. And he laws the roost. All of the others defer to him on the water and meals bowls, however in addition they care for him whilst he's external. All dogs will play with every different, and generally it turns into "tough and tumble" however in case you educate your puppies what is appropriate play I do not feel you have got to fear approximately one hurting the opposite. I feel it could be a well proposal in case you gave your puppies obedience coaching in combination whilst. Generally talking, puppies are the extra intellegent of the domesticated animals and so they quite are dedicated to their people if they're handled good.

Seperate them but let them see each other for a few days. The older is showing alpha dog the other is also tring to be alpha. Then again what are the sexes? Is the older dog male or female? Two males or two females are fighting for the alpha position.

They are both trying to establish themselves as leader of the pack. You need to establish yourself as this position by training them properly. Training classes, books, and proper tools like training collars and leashes, will help. Feed them plenty of food so they don't feel hungry. Eventually they will settle down and adjust to being together. Remember, dogs don't fight to kill one another, or at least that happens very seldom. They just have to establish who is boss.

If there both the same sex you might have a problem sooner or later one is going to be the boss, probably the older one. Use common sense to keep them separate around food and attention time

They're just trying to figure out which one is boss, so don't sweat it. Just keep them separate, and give them equal attention times. Try to neuter them, if you can or feel like it.
