Sure why not i always use pepper and garlic salt before i cook steaks i don't like to much salt thats why i only use garlic salt.

I add sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, and garlic powder to my steaks everytime. It only helps to enhance the flavor of the steaks, and makes a great outer crust of sorts.

a little bit of salt and pepper to cook a steak and when its done let it rest for a few mins. so the juices redistribute! then you will have a juicy steak!

I think that a pepper rub before cooking will help, but easy there!!! You don't want too much of a good thing . . . And use freshly ground peppercorns. That makes a huge difference.

I always add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to a stake while i cook
it on the grill with wood chips of some kind ( mesquite ) you will have people dieing for a bite...

natural flavors of steak come out unaided while cooking. However if you like pepper it will enhance it more to your taste buds.

I think so. Never any salt or salt mixes until cooking is done so it won't dry out.
